Weird Day

I Got Up...
Extra early so I could drive my car into work and start working on it! My wife scoffed that it wouldn't start! Well, I proved her wrong! I got it started and made it to Dad's house before it overheated twice! I would have been three hours trying to get to work so I threw in the towel, called Jerry then it had towed into work! I am glad it is at work now! I have the parts and Ray and I will be starting on it very soon! It will be SO nice to have my car back! I am sure Jerry and Julie can't wait, either! I got home to an empty house! They are all out shopping so I worked out, cooked some supper and thought I would blog and then go take a shower! I want to watch Jericho when I get done my shower since last week was unreal and I can't wait to see what happens this week! They put it on at 10 PM now and I just can't make it! Oh well, getting old I guess! Night

I like that show too, but sometimes it can be rough staying up to watch the whole thing...11:00 is pretty late for me. I think last week I made through about 30-40 mins of it.

We have not been doing good with having to share the truck 3 ways :) Mostly me being pissy about almost loosing my job. But I worked it all out with him. NO biggy. Sorry if I have made anyone feel bad. It's been a stressful couple weeks for me. I can admit when I am bitchy....sometimes.....LOL....Sorry DUDE!

I am sure Jerry and Julie don't mind since you have been giving him a ride since he started working there!! It will be nice to have you car running again though!
Just curious Julie, how did you almost loose your job??

My boss was thinking about hiring someone else.

That sucks, wouldn't it just be easier to get up in the morning and take Jerry to work on the days you have to work?? Zack is old enough to be home in the AM for a little while. Then you guys wouldn't have to do all that running around and it wouldn't cost you as much in gas.

Zack wouldn't get up and get ready for school if I was not here. I would have to leave at 6:30 in the morning on days Jerry get's Rick because he has to be to work by 7. Zack's bus doesn't come until 8:30. I wouldn't feel comfortable with that. My mom didn't leave me alone that long until I was closer to 13. He's still only 11. Jerry and I already talked about it. Plus it is the same amount of driving I think. Dropping Jerry off in the morning at 7 then I would have to come back here until the office opened at 9, go back to Broadway to work, come back after work get Zack at school, then go back to Broadway to pick everyone up. We are broke right now but eventually I will get my car going. Until then I only need the car two days a week now. And even after Rick get's his van going Jerry can take Rick Wednesday and Friday to help split it up. And then Monday's on the day's Rick works on Mondays. It will all work out.

The good thing about this whole situation is Zack is now riding the bus home at night. Something I have been working to get him to do for years now. He has a hard time with the loud noises and the anxiety of it all. But now he does it. I started off slow and did one day a week now he will do three. It makes it easier. I'm proud of him. Might seem like a little thing to most people but for him it is a big step. :)

That's great that he's riding the bus!! Jessi would have no trouble being here alone and getting up and ready, but I have a feeling Sean will always be a little high maintenance in the mornings. Damn boys!

And :::fingers crossed::: for Rick finishing up the van tonight!!!

We only had one car for years and it SUCKED, and we lived right in town Bangor, not in way out here in Hampden.

Well thats great, that he is taking the bus. Helps him and you!

I think I would want to murder someone if I didn't have my own car! I can't stand the thought of being stuck anywhere without my own transportation.

It will be really good when you can get the car fixed, not just for work but for other stuff too!

As long as my car is running, he can always ride with me- I have no problem with that at all! I HATE not having my car! Unfortunately, it is not a nice cheap, easy fix! It basically involved ripping the entire engine apart! NOT fun!
