Tired & Sore

I Am...
Sitting here listening to the Vikings and Packers on the internet and watching Dallas play! I am sore and tired and feel like I have got a good amount done today! I got the lawn mowed, went to the dump and messed around a little bit before football! Hunting season starts tomorrow and I think Sean and I will be going out when I get home from work! Picked these pics cause I thought they were funny! My wife put a bunch of new pics on my computer so I have lots of pics to choose from! I like that! I need to get her to take a ton of pics of hunting stuff so I can blog some hunting blogs! Well, off to watch some football! Later

LONG Day

Today Was...
Shitty at work! It was very busy, very hectic and too much shit went wrong to count! I hate days like today! I just wanted to get stuff done and go home and four of us ended up staying until past 6 to get everything taken care of! Tomorrow is my day off and that is good since I feel like I need one! It is 720 PM, I am eating supper and then we have to run to the movie place, return a movie and get Sean a movie! I will do a quick work out tonight then do a good one tomorrow! Yummy! Rice a Roni and hamburg! I like this picture of Jessi! Her hair looks FABULOUS! LOL. Sorry, the gay Rick got out there for a second! I need to insulate downstairs tomorrow, go to the dump and mow the lawn for the last time! I love my new coffee maker! Coffee was all ready when I came down at 530 AM and that totally ruled! Everyone in the whole world hates my beard so it leaves tomorrow! LOL Night!

Silly!

Thought I would blog some silly pictures of my kids! They are both crazy heads who keep my wife and I busy and entertained! I got my any deer permit and my Dad got his, too even though the internet said he didn't get one! Had an awesome supper of pasta salad made Colleen style and it totally kicked butt! Haven't decided what is going on tomorrow night although some thing will take place! I can't wait until 5 PM tomorrow afternoon when my week will be over and I can have a day off! My wife got me a new coffee maker today with a timer! How exciting that my coffee will be all made when I come down stairs! That is just too cool! Later

OK, Last Night Was...
Sean so tonight will be Jessi! I liked these two pictures of Jessi so I thought I would throw them in my blog! Had a good morning at work, lousy afternoon! Nicole came over for supper tonight and that was cool! I cooked steak on the grill, Colleen made yummy potatoes and squash and I am absolutely stuffed right now! I need to run upstairs and take a shower before Survivor and CSI are both on! I am growing a beard and it itches like 1000 mosquitos are biting my face! I hate this stage of a beard when it doesn't look good and itches like crazy! Not sure if I am going to make it to the stage where it does look good and stops itching! I itch my face like 100 times a day and I am not feeling the whole beard thing when it is 90 and humid outside! Well, off to shower and see what mischief I can get into watching TV with my wife! Night!

Busy and Old

Today Was...
Crazy at work! It is the end of the year for work and everything needs to be done NOW! Plus, it was 'road call from hell' day to boot! I was looking through a bunch of old pictures and I liked these three! The two of our house reminded me of what we went through to have this place and The one of Sean makes him look like a cowboy! Well, off to work out, shower and relax! Later

Tired and Sore

I stayed up to watch the football game last night and watch me lose the football pool by 1 point! I HATE losing! I am ready for hunting season and some time off! They still haven't told Alex when he has to go build the camp and I have a bad feeling it is going to fall right smack dab in the middle of deer season! That is going to suck for both of us! The new guy at work is working out fine but I wouldn't wish him facing three straight weeks of both alex and I gone! I picked these pictures for no real reason! I like the picture of Sean meditating and I like the picture of my tree stand and my kids underneath! I am not long for this world- I am completely exhausted and I need to take a shower, settle in for some baseball and probably fall sound asleep! Later

Fun!

Had fun today hanging out and putting up my new tree stand! My wife has pictures on her blog of me falling out of tree- they are quite funny! I like where my tree stand is although I broke one of my Man rules! My wife knows where my tree stand is for the first time ever! The Vikings stink! Hurry up and come here, Donavan! Had an awesome time hanging out and watching football with Tim, Kristie and Nicole! I did a partial work out tonight! I did the heavy weight bench press and will probably be sore tomorrow! Doing all the tree stand stuff was a lot like work! I think I got enough of a work out cutting trees and getting my stand and ladder set up! Later

Football Sunday

Today is my FAVORITE day of the week!
Sunday with football and friends, BBQ and beer and drinks and spice cake and cheese doodles and Patriots and spinach artichoke dip! Well, I need to go clean off the porch and blast that off and then I need to go to the dump and watch FOOTBALL! I wish I had a 8 million inch widescreen HD TV with Direct TV and I will some day! Just not today! Later

Peace and Quiet

Well, Another Week...
Done! I have tonight and tomorrow off and am looking forward to it as I always do! Football tomorrow and Tim and Kristie are coming over to watch with me! My wife is picking up chicken at the grocery store right now so I can cook it on the grill when she gets home! Yummy! I think I will either not work out tonight or do half tonight and half tomorrow! I liked the extra weight but my shoulders are sore from it! I don't really have much more to say except have a good night! Later

Work, Football and Relaxing

In Case You Didn't Know...
Today is Friday! My work is a weird place on Fridays! Everyone works hard and stresses and busts butt until like 3 PM and then people start getting weird! People get giddy and silly as 5 PM closes in! I never really noticed it until like a month ago when I noticed like everyone's mood in the whole place changed at 3 PM! I started paying attention to it and it is weird! If there is a three day weekend, it starts even earlier! I took Jessi and Sean to see Hampden play high school football tonight. We had a really good time, Jessi got to play with her friend Courtney and Sean had a buddy of his from school to play with- Bo. We left after the third quarter with Hampden ahead 7-0. It was fun and I had a good time! I saw Steve and Jen and Melissa there and I saw Chad from Braggs there as well! I worked out yesterday even though I wasn't supposed and I took my bench press from 100 to 145 pounds and did a lot of flies and I am really sore! I didn't work out tonight because I was afraid I would be really sore tomorrow! I can work out tomorrow though and all will be well! Looking forward to Sunday! Later

Survivor!

Tonight Is...
The season premiere of Survivor! Woo Hoo! Ten more minutes and it is ON! One week from Monday and bird hunting begins! I need to get some picture skills myself so I can take some pictures of things I kill! LOL. That should bring viewers to my blog! The best thing I can say about today is it is Thursday and only two days until my one day off! Todd is going deer hunting in Anticosti so he won't be there next week! Hopefully, he can release some stress and get back to more normal Todd! Later

Long Week

This Week Is Really...
Dragging along! I can't believe it is only Wednesday! It feels like it should be Friday but I look at my computer and the stupid thing says Wednesday! Three more days and I can have a day off! I am really tired of the whole six day fiasco and can't wait to have Mondays off again! Hunting season starts a week from Monday and then Sean and I can go out back and hunt some birds! Alex should be starting the camp in a week or two and then things should get pretty busy at work! Shoot, they are going to want me to work Mondays while he is gone! I never even thought of that! Well, I have the good fortune of working out tonight so I am off to my work bench and an hour of sweating then a shower! Later

Not Much To Say

I Don't Have...
A lot to say tonight really! I had left over lasagna for supper which was very yummy! Bird hunting starts a week from Monday and I should be able to take Mondays in a couple of weeks! My kids and wife have both adjusted pretty well to their new, different schedules and I think everything is going to be fine! I am tired tonight! I wanted to do a small work out tonight but I don't want to push my shoulder too hard so I passed! Sounds like Jerry is having a blast at user group! I know I miss him at work and on the rides in and home! My wife has started working out again and I am very proud of her! It is very hard to get started and I will be as supportive as I can be to help her through the beginning! It was weird seeing a blog from Colleen with zero pictures! It just didn't look right at all! LOL. Off to watch the finale of Big Brother and go to bed! Night

FINALLY

I Can Work Out...
I haven't worked out since last Tuesday because I hurt my shoulder and it finally feels good enough to work out tonight! I am super excited! It makes me feel lazy when I don't work out when I am supposed to! So, in ten minutes, I am off to work out! Hopefully, my shoulder will come through fine and I will feel a little better around 830 PM tonight! The Vikings lost in OT to Detroit! I really think six wins is a stretch for them this year! You can't win in the NFL without a good QB and the Vikings do not have a good QB. Of course, it doesn't help when your second favorite player of all time is absolutely lighting it up with the Pats! People don't understand what it is like being a Vikings fan! It is like being a Red Sox fan without 2004! Oh well, hockey preseason starts tonight! Off to my weight bench, FINALLY! Later

Britney

OK, I Am Not...
The most up to date person on things going on but I have seen the Britney 'train wreck' performance on the award show and don't really get why people are saying that! I thought she looked fine! She HAS had two kids, right? Did they think she was going to weigh 100 pounds and have a wash board stomach after that? OK, I am probably not the best judge on this since I absolutely am not attracted to very skinny women! I like normal looking women. I thought Britney looked fine! OK, give it to me! I know the women that read will blog will have something to say about this! Later

AHHHHH Sunday

Today, I Am...

Feeling hyper! Not sure why since the pager woke me up at 6 AM for a hang up and then Nicky woke me up at 620 AM and then ran away! I have enough things to do today to keep me busy! I have to go to the dump, mow the lawn, work out FINALLY after three days off and go see Harry Potter with my kids! I would also like to modify my ladder today and hang my tree stand out back! Then, watch some football! Clemens vs Shilling tonight at 8 PM with the Pats playing the Chargers at the same time! Vikings play at 4 PM and I don't think they are on TV. Later

I Like Sundays!

And Now That I Have...
Some help at work, I can hopefully have Mondays off soon, too! I don't think the Yankees are coming back in this one! 10-1 in the ninth inning! Good- I hate the Yankees! Vikings play tomorrow and I think I will be at the movies! I told Mom we could go see Harry Potter and Colleen wants to go at 3PM and the Vikings play at 4 PM! Guess I wasn't thinking there at all! We went and watched Jessi play field hockey last night and it was cold and the game is kind of boring! I am glad Jessi likes it and I will go watch every game I can because there really isn't much action! They almost have too many kids on the field at once! Well, off to go watch the final inning and take a shower! My shoulder still hurts and I am dying every day I can't work out! I feel lazy! Later

Off To Work

Today Is Saturday...
And I am on my way to work in about ten minutes! Got woke up at 445 by some idiot who needs a tow in Connecticut! How did the Red Sox lose that game last night? I went to bed and it was 5-1 Sox and I woke up and see that they lost! My shoulder is starting to feel better! Maybe I can resume work outs tonight or tomorrow! Well, that will be all for now! It Is In the Air

Hunting Season...
That is! Nights are cooler and it gets dark earlier! Little chill in the air first thing in the morning! Before you know it, leaves will be changing and the nights will be cooler and then I can go hunting! Bird season starts in a little more than two weeks. Two weeks from Monday if my math is right! I should go tell Sean because he likes to go out back and hunt woodcock with me after school! About a month and a half and it is deer season! I have a lot to do before I am ready for that but I WILL be ready! I got skunked last year- sort of and that won't happen two years in a row! I want the big buck out back- my arch nemesis and I need to find out what he has been up to the last 10 1/2 months or so! Hope he has been doing well because my goal is to make sure he doesn't do well for long! Off to work out and take a shower! Later

Didn't Blog Yesterday...
So I figured I would throw down a quicky this morning! Need to head to work in like five minutes but I will be home later on this evening! Vikings-Lions this weekend at 4 PM! I guess I need to get the radio feed thing that I got last year so I can listen to it! I love the fall weather! Nice and cool but nice during the day! OK, Today Was All About...

My Wife!
Not really sure why but I pretty much thought about her all night and all day! The whole chicken casserole thing was a very nice surprise and I really appreciated that she did that! Then I dreamed about her all night and not G rated dreams either! LOL. Then I woke up, woke her up and spent some time with her before I went to work! Then thought about her at work, went to get her new treadmill and thought about her some more and here I am at home, eating chicken casserole that she saved for me and blogging about her. Not sure what really clicked in my head but I enjoy her and take the things she does for granted and I am very lucky and happy to have her! I love you, Colleen! And yes, I am a big sap bag! LOL Later

Hmmmmm Yummy!

I Worked All Day and...
Came home to find chicken casserole waiting for me! WOO HOO!!! I love chicken casserole! I was full after one plate but couldn't just walk away and had to go get seconds! It is SO yummy! So we were all eating in the kitchen and talking about what our favorite meals are! Just for the record, Jessi's is spaghetti and meatballs and lasagna. Sean's is chicken casserole! If we had ribs or chicken pie or anything else, I have a feeling his answer would have been that! Mine is #4- home made pizza, #3 lasagna, #2 chicken casserole and #1 is Colleen's meatloaf! It is SO good, she even converted my Dad! LOL. Scott and Buzz both talk lovingly of Colleen's rice-a-roni and hamburg but that is way down on mine- good but not in the class of the meatloaf! Colleen didn't put her two cents worth in. Maybe she will in my comments! Well, off to fold clothes, work out, take a shower and watch football! Later

That it hurt a little seeing Moss light it up in New England but seeing AP go 60 for a TD made it better! The Vikes D is scary good- just hope they can keep it up! Had an awesome time last night with Jerry and Julie and had a great time with Tim and Kristie this afternoon! I am off to watch the end of the late games and work out and shower! Probably going to be up until the crack of dawn since I took a nap! Later

Day Off

Worked My Last...
Day of the week and I have tomorrow off! Had an absolute blast tonight with Julie and Jerry and can't wait for that to happen again! I might have enjoyed my wife as much or more than I ever have because she was SO funny and so crazy tonight! I enjoyed Jerry and Julie as much as always and REALLY enjoyed checking out Julie's new bra! LOL! Well, I am off to bed and a day of working around the house! Night!

FINALLY Some Help

Hartt Finally...
hired a new guy to work with me! He has experience in truck parts and computers. I am thinking in a month or so, I will be able to take Mondays off again and have two days off! I am relieved and happy that I can go back to five days a week and maybe even get rid of the pager in the future! Of course, I am not stupid and I do know the guy that is coming over to help me! He used to work at Daigle and then he jumped from there and went to another place then he came to us. People like that are tagged jumpers at my work and that means they jump from one job to another! What does that mean? I guess it means that they either aren't afraid to go somewhere else for more money or they aren't very good at what they do! Not sure on that one yet! I am hoping he just hasn't found his place yet and my work will be his place! Well, I am off for a quick work out and a shower and then settle in for the night! Later

OK, I Didn't Blog...
Yesterday so I am going to blog this morning to make up for it! Football has started and I am looking forward to Sunday! My son came in bed with me and watched the first 30 minutes of the new NFL season! I enjoyed that and I am starting to explain football to him so he will love it and understand it! Well, I am off to work and Jerry's house! They are coming over tomorrow night and I need to get a bottle before then! Hint Hint, Honey!

Tomorrow Is NFL

The NFL Season...
Starts tomorrow so I spent a part of today getting my football pool set up and all my ducks in a row for this weekend! I think Jerry and Julie are coming over Saturday and I know I miss hanging out with them! School definitely doesn't seem to tire my kids out much- they are just as wild as if it was still summer vacation! Work was quiet this morning then blew up in the afternoon! I was very busy this afternoon but still managed to plug away and get stuff done! I think I am going upstairs to work out a little then take a shower and settle in for the night! I hope Joey comes back soon because I hate doing yard check every day! Adds a half hour to me day and I have to get up 30 minutes earlier than normal. My wife has a class for picture taking tomorrow night and I think I will see if AJ is free to come over and watch the game with me! That would be cool if he is actually up here on his vacation! Back To the Grind

Well, Today Was...
Back to work after two very relaxing, nice days off! My wife goes back to school tomorrow and she is excited and nervous! Football starts on Thursday with the first game of the season and I am excited for the start of the NFL! I only have to work five days this week which should make this week go by pretty fast! I mean tomorrow is Wednesday and it feels like today is only Monday! I need to go upstairs and work out tonight then settle in to watch TV with my wife! I am a little tired but not too bad! I am looking forward to a nice, quiet evening and some more sleep! I have yard check all week since Joey is on vacation and I am not looking forward to going to work at 6 AM all week! Back From Camp!

Well, It Is...
Monday evening and I just got back home from camp! Wasn't like we were really far away- I was home both days I was away at one point! I had a good time! We ate too much, played tons of video games and played some cards and drank a few beers. I got to see two buddies of mine that I never see anymore! They were both part of the old football crowd out to Scott's house. I think I sold Nintendo 4 more wii's! I have to go back to work tomorrow and I am such a nice, easy relaxed mood right now, I don't even mind! Two days off was just what I needed! I am glad to be back home and I missed my family and my house! I am off to work out, take a shower and settle in for the night! Later
